Southwest Primitive Baptist Church
Today I stopped by Southwest Primitive Baptist Church for some photo therapy. Unlike my other photography outings, I didn't shoot with my own camera. I decided to take my wife's older Sony A5100. I also decided to shoot with a classic 35mm film lens (Minolta/Starblitz 28mm f/2.8). Why not shoot a historic site with a historic lens? As expected, the results from this lens are excellent and full of vibrant colors. Editing was on a minimal level today.
South West Primitive Baptist Church is still a well kept landmark. It's also a beautiful place just to walk around and enjoy a piece of Onslow County's dismal history. This Church is always empty and free to visit. For the most part everything is undisturbed and fully intact. If you look through the windows, it's like staring back in time. This really would be the idea spot for an outdoor wedding or classic photo shoot.
